Allay Terms of Use
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Acceptance
By using Allay, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Not Medical Advice
Allay is a wellness and education tool — not a medical device, and not a substitute for professional medical care. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent tinnitus or any condition. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional with any questions about a medical condition. See the Medical Disclaimer in the app.
Emergencies
Allay is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis or danger, contact your local emergency services.
Listen Safely
Allay plays audio. Keep the volume comfortable and low, especially for long or overnight listening. You are responsible for protecting your hearing. See "Listen safely" in the app.
Allay+
Allay+ is a one-time purchase that unlocks the premium features forever — it is not a subscription and does not auto-renew. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Purchases can be restored on any of your devices from About → Restore purchase. The crisis tools, core sounds, sleep, and daily check-in are always free.
Intellectual Property
The app, its content, and design are owned by Allay or its licensors. Audio loops are used under their respective licenses (see Acknowledgements).
Disclaimer & Liability
Allay is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app. Results vary; we make no promises about outcomes and no claim to cure tinnitus.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes.
