Della Privacy Policy

The Short Version
Della is a breathing instrument. It finds your personal resonant breathing rate and paces you to it. There are no ads, we do not sell your data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. Your heart rate never leaves your device, and there is no account to create.
No account, no personal profile
You don't sign in, and we never ask for your name, email, or phone number to use Della. There is no login and no personal profile. We do not build an advertising profile about you.
Your heart rate stays on your device
To find your resonant rate, Della reads your heart rate from Apple Watch during a short measurement session. This happens entirely on your device. Your heart-rate data is never sent to our servers and is not shared with anyone. Your measured rate and your session history are stored on your device.
Information the app handles
- Heart rate (Apple Watch) — read only during a resonance measurement, only to compute your personal rate. On-device only. You can decline or revoke Health access anytime in your device Settings.
- Your sessions and resonant rate — the rate Della measures and the breathing sessions you complete are stored on your device so you can see your progress over time.
- Subscription status — handled by our payments provider (see below). We receive whether your trial or purchase is active and an anonymous identifier, never your payment details.
- Feedback you choose to send — if you tap "Send Feedback" in Settings, the message you type is sent to us so we can read and act on it. This only happens when you choose to send it.
Payments
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by the App Store and by RevenueCat, which manages entitlements for us. RevenueCat receives your subscription status and an anonymous app-user identifier so your access works across your devices. This identifier is not linked to your real-world identity and is not used to track you. Your payment information is handled by Apple and never seen by us.
Feedback
The optional "Send Feedback" feature transmits the text you write to a private, insert-only table hosted by Supabase, our backend provider, so we can read it. The app can only add feedback, never read anyone else's.
What Della does not do
- No advertising, at any tier.
- No third-party analytics or usage tracking, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking.
- No selling or sharing of your data.
- No background collection of your heart rate or location.
Service providers
- Apple — App Store, in-app purchases, and HealthKit (heart rate is read on-device only).
- RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management.
- Supabase — storage for feedback you choose to send.
Your choices & deleting your data
- You can turn off Health access for Della at any time in your device Settings.
- Your sessions and resonant rate live on your device; removing the app removes them.
- To request deletion of any feedback you sent us, email the address below and we'll remove it.
Health disclaimer
Della is designed for relaxation and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition. If you have a heart or respiratory condition, talk to your doctor before beginning a breathing practice.
Children
Della is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
