Pitchbird Privacy Policy

Overview

Pitchbird is a vocal pitch-training app built to respect your privacy. It runs entirely on your device — there is no account, and your data stays with you.

What we collect

Nothing personal, unless you choose to write to us. Pitchbird does not require an account, email, or sign-up. Your practice data (sessions, scores, XP, streaks, achievements, and your vocal range) is created and stored only on your device. The one exception is feedback you deliberately send from Settings — see below.

Feedback you send

If you use Send Feedback in Settings, the message you write is sent to us, along with basic technical details that help us act on it: the app version and build, your iOS version, your device model (for example “iPhone16,2”), and your language setting. If you add your email address — which is optional and clearly marked — we use it only to reply to you, and for nothing else. We never send your practice data, your recordings, or anything that identifies you beyond what you type. If you leave the email field blank, your feedback is anonymous. Feedback is stored in a private database that only we can read; it is not sold, shared, or used for advertising. Email support@pitchbird.app if you would like a piece of feedback deleted.

Microphone

Pitchbird uses your microphone to detect your pitch in real time while you practice. Audio is processed live on your device and is NEVER recorded, saved, or transmitted. Only the resulting note/pitch values are used, and they never leave your phone.

No tracking

Pitchbird contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or trackers. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your data with data brokers.

Purchases

If you buy Pitchbird Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple under the App Store’s terms. We do not receive your name or payment details.

Data & deletion

Because everything is stored locally, you are always in control. Deleting the app removes all of your Pitchbird data from your device.

Children's privacy

Pitchbird is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
