Vōch Terms of Use

These are the rules for using Vōch. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're written to be clear, not to bury important things.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use Vōch. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@voch.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not create accounts on behalf of others, impersonate any person, or use a username that infringes on someone else's trademark or that is offensive, vulgar, or misleading.

3. Content You Post

You own the content you create on Vōch. By posting you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, distribute, and store that content as part of operating and improving the service. We will not sell your content to third parties.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. By submitting content you confirm that:

• You have the right to post it and it does not infringe any third-party rights.
• It does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
• It complies with our Community Guidelines below.

We may remove content that violates these terms and, for serious or repeated violations, suspend or terminate your account.

4. Community Guidelines

To keep Vōch a good place for everyone, the following are not allowed:

• Harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse of any individual or group.
• Content that sexualises minors in any way.
• Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
• Sharing others' private information without their consent (doxxing).
• Impersonating another person or organisation in a misleading way.
• Malware, phishing links, or other malicious content.
• Content that violates applicable intellectual property laws.

We rely on the community to report violations. Use the report button on any post or profile to flag content that breaks these rules.

5. Vōch's Intellectual Property

The Vōch name, logo, design, and all software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without our written permission.

6. Third-Party Content & Links

Vōch surfaces movie, TV, book, game, and music information from third-party databases and APIs (e.g. TMDB, OpenLibrary). We do not own this metadata and cannot guarantee its accuracy. Links to external sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Beta Service

Vōch is currently in private beta. The service is provided "as is" and features may change, break, or be removed at any time. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we build.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vōch is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You may stop using Vōch and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice for serious violations.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Sections 3, 5, 8, and 10 survive termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Vōch after that date constitutes acceptance.
